I have had experience with Zoloft (100mg). SSRIs like Zoloft tend to affect people in different ways. For me, it was extremely helpful throughout the process of learning to confront anxiety and depression. Some symptoms can definitely be from the medication, especially when your start, stop, and adjust the dose. I also believe that we sometimes tend to overemphasize and catastrophicsize our symptoms and link every little problem to the medication. In my opinion, it can be a little of both. I stayed on it for approximately a year even though I felt better. While there were some side effects I get more from taking an over the counter antihistamine. So, if it is working and the side effects are minimal, in my opinion I would stay on it. However, if they become intolerable , always seek the advice of your prescribing doctor....keep us posted!
Your problem sounds identical to mine only it seems there is more swaying or bobbing than actual dizziness. I have been on the zoloft for 6 months.
I would appriciate if you have received any info hearing from you. I feel like I'm going crazy.
