I have been taking Zoloft for 16 yrs and upped my dose this past March. If you want to talk I am here:)
I think you should stop taking it if you are having all of those side effects, maybe something else would be better. I don't think that having all of those side effects is a good thing at all, it's supposed to help with anxiety not increase it so it's doing the opposite of what it is supposed to do. I'm just talking from my experience with that medication i had the side effects for over a month and got very ill so i stopped taking it I am now on my 5th anti depressant and none have worked for me, just be safe and make sure that it is right for you.
Zoloft has a fairly long half-life of 26 hours. A half-life is the amount of time it will take your body to excrete 1/2 of the amount of Zoloft in your body. I really suck at math, so I'll leave that up to you. Bottom line though is that it's not going to take very long. Couple days at most. Hell, you only took a grand total of 75mg. Drink lots of water and understand that your anxiety about "withdrawing" from that tiny amount of Zoloft IS just that......anxiety.
Go VERY easy with the Xanax. It's a grand drug when used extremely sparingly, but it has razor sharp teeth.
Get back with your doctor and discuss your options, but know that with almost all antidepressants, there IS going to be a time of adjustment and it's not always really pleasant. A fair trial for most anitdepressants is at least 4 weeks. So unless you're willing to go through a bit of a rough patch to ultimately feel a great deal better, you need to let your doctor know that.
I wish you the very best
Peace
