Alcohol is one of THE worst things you could partake in, related to anxiety.  Alcohol ingestion (especially in excess) will exacerbate anxiety like you couldn't imagine.  You will likely experience a significant increase in anxiety for SEVERAL days after indulging.

Being anxious myself, I hardly EVER drink anymore, and when I do, I NEVER drink to the point of intoxication.  If I do, I'll pay for it for days...sometimes up to week.

If you have a history of anxiety, you have to be smart and avoid the obvious triggers, alcohol is a biggie.  You'd be smart to lay off it completely, but if you're not willing to do that, at least cut down on the amounts you are drinking, and definitely do not drink to the point of intoxication.  SURE, you'll feel like superman at the time...and the anxiety will be GONE while drinking, but the end result is not worth it.  ONE night of feeling anxiety free for several days of having your anxiety through the roof?  No thank you!

You can search the forum, we get this question a lot.

Best to you!

A night of heavy drinking can both dehydrate you as well as affect your electrolytes (depending on how heavy), which can certainly lead to fast heart rate and a feeling of anxiousness the next day. One might experience more palpitations and a fast heart rate. Drink lots of water, and eat a banana or two before bed, and maybe something else with potassium in the morning. That should help a bit.
