Hey guys I've been on klonopin for like 9 months and pristiq...I take half of a tablet of klonopin in the morning and another half later in the day like @ 7 p.m....and then I take 2 pristiq pills at night be4 I sleep....so ever since christmas I haven't taken pristiq cuz my insurance doesn't cover it..I've been really goood but last night I was sittin in the livin rooom cuz my grandma wasn't feeling well and all of a sudden I felt light headed and like if I was fallin and I came into my rooom and layed down and started crying cuz im like what now!!! I've been feeling very goood and out of a sudden it hit me..and  now this morning when I wake up I feel all spacy and werid..and I hear weird noises..my doc said I hear all those weird noises cuz my brain got a lil out of control from the drug I did...what can it be that hit me was it anxiety again??

Ummm thanks a lot.....yea the doctor gave me lexapro so I start taking that today...but it feels weird...does anxiety make u feel like ur falling but ur really not right??? And I get like song melodys in my head like all day..is that anxiety??

You're most likely suffering from withdrawal from abruptly stopping the Pristiq.  What you can do is go back on it at the last dose at which you felt okay and taper off more slowly under the care of your psychiatrist.  If your psychiatrist doesn't recognize or care about withdrawal, get another.  If you find you need the med, which it sounds like you're finding you don't, but if you do, you might try Effexor.  It's the earlier form of Pristiq and I believe it's off patent and therefore pretty cheap.  You might also try a generic ssri instead of an snri, but again, it sounds like you're doing fine without it, it's just the withdrawal you're suffering.  You can also just tough it out; some find that a heavy dose of fish oil and some St. John's Wort helps with the disorientation and the mood swings.  Good luck.
