PVC's and PAC's, weird symptoms

For years now I have had sinus tachycardia and PAC's and PVC's.  I had a 24 hour event monitor in fall, and in 2003 I had a 3 week holter monitor and an echocardiogram, as well as various EKG's.  Everything proved to be normal excpet for these things.  The doctors reassure me that it is nothing to worry about. Mind over matter thing, but it's easier said than done.  I am 27 years old, I used to suffer from alot of panic attacks now I  have them every now and then, but I do have anxiety and inability to succuessfully cope with some stressful situations.  My question is, will this eventually turn into a more serious thing? Or is this really that common?  Also are there any other tests I should have done?
The other thing is, yesterday I had an episode where I felt really light-headed, exessive yawning and I think I was having ectopics at that time.  I know it's happened b4 in the past but, what is this?  Any help please, its greatly appreciated!
Thanks

The cardiac rhythms you describe are, in fact benign and not harmful to you at all.  They CAN feel awfully scary, however, and unsettling.  I've had palpitations and PVC's in the past, and both are scary.

So, there can definitely be a correlation between those issues.

Do you have a MVP by chance?  (Mitral Valve Prolapse) otherwise known as a heart murmur?

Just an FYI for those of you out there:

There is a very strong correlation between MVP's and anxiety disorders....the researchers are not sure exactly how the two relate, but they somehow do.

In the meantime, avoiding caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol if you can,  will help to decrease any symptoms.

Good luck!

It sounds to me like your doctor has run all the tests that he needs to run. I am not a doctor, but i used to be a paramedic here in L.A. and am myself dealing with anxiety. Anxiety if left unchecked can become quite debilitating and rule your everyday life. As far as the lightheadedness and yawning goes, that can be due to anxiety. It can cause a lot of different symptoms and definantly affect your heart rhythms. If your cardiologist thinks that everything is fine, then i would trust him based on all of the tests the have ran on you. Anxiety is very common, and i would suggest seeing your GP or a psychatrist for some help in dealing with it through meds and/or therapy.

I hope that you can get some help, please let me know what you find out as i am going through some of the same things you are.

Hope this helps in some way! :)
