can anxiety cause neuropathy

For the past month I have suffered a varietyof neuropathic symptoms. Anxiety is being pointed out as a main culprit.  How often is this the case, and what is the solution?

While stress, fear, worry and anxiety can affect all aspects of any illness or disorder, it is highly unlikely, in my totally non-medical opinion, that your neuropathy has been CAUSED by anxiety.
Neuropathic pain has many possible causes, some of which include reactions to certain drugs or chemicals, INTERACTIONS of certain drugs, complications of an underlying illness such as diabetes, alcoholism, vitamin deficiency, especially B-12, thyroid disorders, trauma or pressure on a nerve or a possible ruptured disc.......to name just a few.
The solution? Find a doctor willing to take the time to test you for a possible underlying cause rather than blow this off as "anxiety."
