Has anyone in here experienced nausea when they are suffering from an anxiety attack? I also get the tightness in my chest and feel like I can't breathe but have noticed nausea, as well. I am on Klonopin, .5 3 times per day, which seems to be helping. I tried to taper, on my own, and got down to 2 pills and it came back. I am also on Celexa for depression, which I have suffered from since I was 9.
We are not doctors here call your doctor ASAP
Okay, the chest pain has gone away, but now I am really tired/kind of lightheaded, dizzy, why??????????
In my opinion, if you have been cleared medically then you are fine. My health anxiety originally stemmed from heart health and I feared like I had heart related problems even though tests and doctors said otherwise.
When I get upset, I experience the same symptoms....it is the tensing of your muscles. Anxiety and stress can really take a toll on us both mentally and physically. Furthermore, in my experience we also tend to focus on every little variance in the region we are focused on. For example, when I get upset I get pains all over, when I walk up a flight of stairs I breathe heavily, etc. Is it heart related? Maybe, BUT it is a NORMAL reaction to stimuli which is a good thing. Since you have been to the docs and gotten a clean bill of health, I would focus on confronting the anxiety. Have you seen a therapist about this at all? You would be quite surprised how far a little knowledge can go in learning to thrive with this...keep us posted!
