cipralex

iv been on cipralex 5mg for 10 days now 10mg for 13  days i am feeling weak nautious burning sensation and pressure in the the head not feeling my self feeling deattattched from my body . it is unbear able some times a feeling of loosing control alot of tention grinding my teeth ringing in the ears and head my doc told me to up my dose to cipralex 20mg but i am afraid it will make it worse. and the side affects will be a big problem. please let me know what i can do i take omega 3 joy and multivitamins . and i take vitamin b6 b 12 shots twice a week .. what aree your suggestions they would be very helpful. thank you for your time .

I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time adjusting to this medication. In which case you should see your doctor again and discuss a possible switch to something else with less side effects for you. Upping the dose while you are still experencing so many nasty side effects simply does seem like "good medicine" to me, but I am not a doctor and it's not my place to second guess him, but I would certainly be asking some serious quesitons while I was there.

Any antidepressant can make you feel pretty "off" for quite a while after starting. It's one of the biggest reasons people quit. Recomendations usually are to wait at least 6 weeks before trying something new, so gut it out if you can. And DO NOT quit cold turkey... if it isn't working, go see your doc before deciding to quit.
