clonazepam missed dose

I take 1.25mg of clonazepam daily- 0.25mg during the day and 1mg at night. Last night I fell asleep and woke up at 5am to find out that I've missed last night's dose. I immediately took 0.5mg- i didn't want to take the whole 1mg because that would bring today's total to 2.25mg, instead of 1.25mg. Do you think I'm going to have problems today?
Thank you.

No, dont' think you'll have any problems. I taper down off mine all the time, no issues. I agree with lanvin, a benzo is a take needed drug. Now if you are taking it everyday, same dose, and when you are ready to stop, wean off slowly. Just take smaller amounts, and spread that out over a few weeks, and you'll be fine.

Lastnight, I ran out of Lexapro, my antidepressant. I went all day today without any issues. But luckily I called my Dr's office and they had me some free samples to last me a few months, that I just picked up. So one day didnt effect me. But if I went 2 days without it... I dunno what to think. lol.

You'll be fine. Your day is over by now I'm sure. How'd ya do? =)

What kind of problems? Missing doses of clonazepam is okay. I take it everyday and sometimes I take more sometimes less. Its actually good if you can function on less, If you were able to go to sleep without the dose , you might want to tlak to your doc about lowering your dose. The less you take the better. It can be habit forming and hard to wena off of. But as to your question no you will be fine,,,do not double does, clonazepam is a benzo not like an antidepressnt that needs to maintain levels in your blood..it can be taken as needed. You will be fine. If you notice more anxiety then just take a little bit.
