Roy,
I have had the exact same issues for the last three months, could barely walk or drive. Big time troubles going to the grocery, ect. And I have ruled out about everything I can think of. I got blood tests, MRI, heart, ect. They found nothing, so I started on the Lexepro this morning. It is still very hard for me to beleive that it is all cuased from anxiety as well, I guess time will tell.
I can tell you that other things have helped me cope also like limiting my sugar & caffeine intake, meditation & excercise, i also recently started wearing glasses (I had no idea my eye sight was so bad) and that has helped with my headaches. But nothing brought me back to "normal" so like I said I'm on the lexi- good luck to you!
Definately always check out with your doctor first to rule out anything medical. Anxiety did give me lots of dizzyness at one point and it can give you thought such as your. But do check out with a qualified medical practicionner before jumping to any conclusions.
You truly need to see a doctor about this, and if everything is okay then you can address the anxiety. It's always best to rule out any physical health problems first. Anxiety can cause so many symptoms, but get checked out physically and go from there. We're always here for support and have all dealt with anxiety, so know you're not alone.
