gofia makes a very good point. None of us want to be on medication, but anxiety is like any other medical condition requiring daily medication to control the symtoms. You have a choice, medication can improve your quality of life so much that I choose to take it. Don't suffer needlessly.
Of course any 'breakdown's' horrible. Have you received medical help for your long st: If you want relief from anxiety there's a cost involved ~ the unwanted side effects. I have agreed to take medication for the rest of life, but I'm old & you're not. Why suffer from anxiety severe enough to spoil your life?Anything's better than being tortured by rotten, negative thoughts. Suicidal thoughts are a sure sign that you must seek urgent help. You didn't ask any questions in your message, so it's impossible to know what it is that you want. Perhaps you just want someone to know that you are unhappy?Hope that you feel better soon. Good Luck
Many can relate to what you're feeling and the frustrations that accompany living with anxiety. You don't say if you have been in therapy, but this can be a big help for us. Some of us have a "root cause" for our anxiety, and learning what that is and dealing with it can ease your anxiety so much. Therapy also teaches us how to view things in a more positive manner and how to cope with stress in our lives. I hope things are improving for you, and know you're not alone. We all understand and care and are always here to lend support or just listen. Often knowing there are others who understand, who you can talk with can help a lot. Stay strong and keep fighting. I wish you all the best!
