this used to happen to me a lot and i found it happened when i thought about it while eating. if i didn't think about choking then i had no issues.
it has not happened in awhile, but i guarantee if i thought about choking tonight while eating dinner then i would.
no matter what do NOT think about it while eating. try that and see if it works. also try thinking about it and see if it happens.
took me awhile to figure this out on my own, but i am glad i did
getting better but i still have my moments
couple of weeks, maybe a month. no i havent ...trying to deal with it on my own
What you describe is par for the course for anxiety. Our minds are our worst enemy, truly.
So, you didn't address my other questions...how long has this been going on, and have you sought professional help in any capacity?
its weird because if im home alone im fine..i can eat perfectly but if i think about it then im in trouble
When did this start? Sorry, I don't recall, and I didn't look at your prior posts.
Have you tried any kind of therapy? Specifically CBT? That would be a good option for trying to change your thinking patterns about the choking.
