Thing can and do linger on within. We think we have managed to put them aside and have got over them. I am talking about your car crash. The effect that would have had on you. Delayed shock. You might not imagine it could be so long delayed. Tweleve years or so. But it can come back and bite you harder than you ever imagined. We are not sure if you ever got any kind of mental help after the crash? Theraphy and the likes. Or did you just pop a few pills and just get on with it?
As was so nicely put above, you need to go see a doctor. Explain exactly how you are feeling and take it from there. Yes. It can get better. It can go away. But not by any kind of magic. It takes a bit of work. Be it medication with theraphy. It may mean you having to do some things you fear. Putting yourself in situations you dread. It all depends on the approach your therapist suggests. And what exactly they think is wrong with you.
We can only guess at what we think is your condition. Until we know there is not a lot more we can help you with.
Just a quick question before I begin.........do the English not use periods any longer? Has the Queen banished their usage?
Wee bit of humor to lighten the mood...............
I have no idea what's going on with your ears, but I CAN say with some degree of certainty that you are suffering from a whopping case of anxiety!
I got a bit lost there with your car accident, a fear of seaplanes, your marriage and honeymoon, the bleeding ear, a cold, the doctor who couldn't help you, the flight to Dubai to another doctor who put you on "citropram," which I've never heard of, but maybe they put you on "CITALOPRAM," which is an antidepressant.............but IS used "off label" for panic disorder and now you've been home for what? Four weeks and you're ears are "clicking, twingy and the glands are swollen," but you've not been to a doctor?
What, exactly, are you waiting for?
You ask how long do these lasts? How long do WHAT last? You never told us what they diagnosed you with. You ask if we think they will eventually go away? What? Your ears? You ask if you can go back to normal.............obviously not until you see a doctor. Good grief woman, make an appointment today!
Sorry if this seemed harsh, but there was only one logical thing to do.............
Peace
