I very much agree with Ryan, and think that this could very likely be a manifestation of OCD, or OCD-like behavior.
Oh, and it's obvious that the OP misspoke when saying "hypocalcemia".....as evidenced simply by the content of his posts....he says nothing about calcium and only discusses glucose.....
"I am obsessed with my blood sugar levels"
We are talking about Hypocalcaemia ( unless he used the wrong word here which have something to do with calcium rather than sugar. Hypoglycemia is the medical term for a state produced by a lower than normal level of blood glucose.
if you have hypoglycemia u need to stop eating sugar...before i knew i had it i would eat sugar all the time then feel even more tired and have headaches..when u have hypoglycemia sugar and carbs aren't good for ya..also hypoglycemia can cause anxiety
Hello there,
Hypocalcaemia is the presence of low serum calcium levels in the blood. I think your problem is anxiety since feeling of passing out if a very common symptoms. Also i don't suggest you eat too much sugar or at least try to have sugar from a natural source like fruits.
There are many ways to treat anxiety and if you don't wanna be on drugs i would suggest a really healthy diet and regular physical activity.
In order to work properly the body needs air, water, food ( fats, carbohydrate and proteins ) physical activity, If you can manage to go to the gym on a regular basic and eat very healthy you will see major improvement in your condition. The sedentary lifestyle and pollution and bad nutrition nowadays are the roots to almost every health problems.
So what you need is not eat more sugar but to keep everything balanced. Doing regular exercise and eating well.
You could also try luminotherapy. Luminotherapy means light therapy and usually involves half-hour sessions in front of a bright lamp (10 000 lux), specially adapted to treat seasonal depression. The principle is simple: light exposure slows down melatonin production, fighting sleepiness and depression. The light reaches the brain through the retina of the eye, as nerve impulses, to alter hormone levels, which in turn reset your body clock and boost your immune system. Some doctors and health farms offer luminotherapy as a treatment, but there are also special lamps on the market for home use.
If you have hypocalcaemia it would be a great idea to try have more exposure to sun light as it's a good source of vitamin D and people with hypocalcaemia lack this vitamin as well some magnesium problems...It could be too high or too low.
Hope this will help you out.
Best regards,
