in a fog

i was taking xanax .025 three times a day for around six months.i started forgetting stuff in about the third months of taking this drug. at first i did not put much weight in it. but after another three months i was in bad shape. i could not concentrate, i was confused, i would forget where i was going, or what i was picking  up at the store, it is madding.my husband has to remind me of what i am doing or getting. i  have more anxiety now.

i started taking buspar instead. it has worked well for me. i still have some anxiety . i can live with that.  i have been clean of xanax for  six months my short term memory lose is still here i write notes for myself and i still misplace them.i can even lose one i have placed by the phone

Ashwagandha relieves anxiety. That's why I took it. It works beautifully.

I think you know what to do.
I was on antidepressants for only 2 months (on two separate occasions) and that was long enough for me to learn that the side effects aren't worth it.

Slowly get off the Xanax. Do it slowly because it is addictive. Substitute ashwagandha, an herb that relieves anxiety without side effects. It does not cause addiction.
