Give great consideration that you are propably going through withdrawals from the xanax. What you are describing sounds very much xanax withdrawl. Valium is a good cross over benzo to w/d off of. See website benzo.uk.org, they have an excellent tapper schedule. And you can read all the withdrawal symptoms that other people have. Sorry but xanax is the most addictive. Been there, done that.

good luck

Sorry to hear that you have had a rough time and it is still on going.

I know that it is hard but if you have had all of the tests done then you need to accept that there is nothing physically wrong with you and you are not about to die anytime soon. Until we truly accept that it is anxiety then it is near impossible for us to get over our symptoms. The more we focus on our symptoms they worse they get.

Perhaps you need to visit your GP and discuss your meds with him/her, perhaps they will look at your dosage or try you on another drug. Are you in any type of therapy? If not then I would highly recommend that you ask for a referral so that you can beat this thing once and for all.

Use this forum as much as you need to. It really does help to know that you are not alone and that everyone on here has been in the same boat as you.

Good luck and keep in touch
