hey i hope this doesn't freak you out but i have a fear of developing a mental illness and i told my friend this and she compared my worrying to a women who is wanting to get pregnant she said that these women get themselves so worked up that they actually start showing things like cravings growing stomache(bloating) and even sore breasts. what she was trying to tell me is to not get myself so worked up about it because i'll start showing signs that aren't linked to any mental illness at all but is just manifested by my anxiety. but still if you did start showing signs of pregnancy it never hurts to just take a quick pregnancy test you know.....i hope you feel better soon and i hope i helped maybe
Excessive worrying is frequently a symptom of anxiety and depression.
Worry and anxiety can be a 'downhill slope' and take it's toll out on ones body in any number of ways.
Speak to your doctor about these symptoms and get a good checkup.
Not only can anxiety cause a host of symptoms, so can just "thinking" of being pregnant. I know of many women trying to get pregnant who have made themselves have physical symptoms, such as bloating, nausea, even missed periods. I know when I was trying to conceive, the month before I did I was convinced I was pregnant because of all the weird signs. When you really think about something, you heighten your sensitivity to the sensations. This is exactly how anxiety works as well.
