quick question new med need advice

Dr put me on new depression med today kinda nervous bec take at nite which it supp too make me sleepy side effects breathing & hives question is anyone take it r heard of it does it make it sleepy what it does bec i have a 4month old so need advice citalopram 20mg thank you

That's great. I'm really glad to hear your Dr is recommending you cut your meds in half. You should'nt be as sleepy that way. Sometimes it's better to start with a small dose and work your way up of you need yo.

I have but problem is she try me on so many other depression med she give a try bec i normally have bad side effects she told me too break in half try that tonite

If you have a concern about being to tired to hear your baby you may want to give your Dr a call tomorrow and ask if you can start on 10mgs. No matter how tired we mothers are we hear our babies but I can sure understand your concerns.
