I concur with mammo 100%. Sometimes anxiety can be relieved by learning about the physical symptoms we deal with, but this doesn't equal treating the problem- speaking to a professional is easy, painless and a little scary at first, but you'll see quickly that anxiety is something that therapists and doctors teach you how to manage- they have the skills and tools to teach you how to manage your own well-being. All of us here who looked for professional assistance for our anxiety benefited from the experience.
Sensitivity to light in your eyes doesn't go with anxiety and you need to see an eye doctor to determine why you have this sensitivity....it may be related to your hay fever. But you are suffering from a lot of anxiety and you should talk to your parents about getting you into therapy so you can get beyond this. We hear from a lot of teens like yourself, so know you're not alone. But when something happens that scares you this bad, talk to your parents so they can get you in to see the proper specialist. It's okay to need help...we all need it at some point. But if you address this anxiety now you can prevent yourself from having to deal with this in the future. Don't be afraid.....anxiety is just scary but not harmful and the more scared and worried you are...the worse your anxiety becomes. Talk to your parents and go from there. It's going to be okay and we're always here for you.
