can totally get that you want everyone happy and you sound like a very hard working person, but until you can find your happiness then others wont be happy, you need to concentrate on yoou for the moment, have you had any drama in your life?maybe you are suffering PTSD,you say you have quit drinking,so i am guessing that you have had upset in your life,if this is the case you really need to discuss this with a councillor so you can try and move on from on from this once you have tackled your own inner self then you can focus on being the man you once use to be,explain to your wife that you feel alone and that for the time being you are the one who needs help and support, with the love and help from your family you should be able to beat all this that you are going through,i wish you luck and remember you are never alone we are always here.

Have you tried AA?  They offer counseling and have a great support group.  It would definitely help you to not feel alone and to understand how quitting alcohol affects you.  If you feel you are getting no where with your therapy, find a new one!  Drinking can be a form of self medicating and you need to get to the root of what was causing that, address it and move on.  Our anxiety can cause great physical pain, so the sooner this is taken care of the better.  Your family needs you, if you haven't tried AA, you should, I think you would benefit greatly from it.  Good luck and take care.
