why is anxiety worse in the morning

As soon as i wake up first thing i feel my short of breath racing heart and scared butterfly feelings and it is sooo horrible and it realy makes me think there is something wrong with me.I only just woke up and didnt even have time to think. I am slowly starting to accept i dont have a blood clott although my Ecg did show periods of Rapid heart beat. And my Rapid heartbeat hits me worse with physical activity like standing up quickly and i am an active person, so why is this? I amtrying to accept if but it is always what if?

I agree with heartflutters.  Every morning it greets me.  "Good morning anxiety"..some days it is terrible, somedays bearly there...but it is ALWAYS there in some form.  Mine only lasts an hour or so however, it can spike its head at any time....It usually peeks at me at lunch time and then dinner time...i just deal with it, accept it, and move forward.  If you don't it will control you.  The more  you accept it and just move on, the more it will subside.

Thanku so much i cant wait to be better, i cant keep fighting trained perfessionals but 'What If ?' Lol. Sometimes when u are doing something, for no reason out of the blue do u get this overwhelming feeling of fear?I know it is related to the 'fight or flight' response but is soo horrible and i just want  it too go away as we all do. Do herbal remedies work?

In my opinion, because you remind me so much of me when I first went through this, this is completely normal in the anxiety panic cycle.  Your ECG will show rapid heart beat...it tends to happen when we are anxious.  Also, remember your heart is a pump, when you stand it is going to beat faster, mine does, and I run over 35 miles a week and have a very slow resting heart rate.  Remember that when we anticipate things like rapid heart beats or symptoms they will be magnified in our heads.  The what if thinking is a very powerful thought process that keeps us in the panic cycle.  By learning about it, one can really thrive and cope with it...just keep your attitude up and feel free to express as many concerns and questions as you like.  We are all in this together!
