paranoia

is it possible to imagine a pain in your leg that you then imagine to be a blood clot and then th pain gets worse from there?

Most definitely!  That's par for the course with anxiety.  A twinge of pain in the chest..you're convinced you're having a heart attack.  A headache...for sure you're havong a stroke.  Those kinds of things.

What have you done to address your anxiety?  Have you tried meds or therapy?

Yes it is possible. It happened to me. I went to the er and they did an ultrasound and a blood test to assure me I do not have nor have ever had a blood clot. By the next day (because I was reassured) the pain went away. So obviously it was anxiety...lol.
