I was just really hoping for a home remedy to help but doing more research sounds like im beating a dead horse...
Thanks. Yeah I know its self medicating but I just want to feel normal. And I would hate to make the doctors and nurses at the er to take their focus off people who really need them just for someone going through paxil withdrawals. It is pretty terrible but I suppose I just have to live with it until I can get my script in a couple days. :(
You need to just stop trying to self medicate yourself through this. You already took a Klonopin, and now you want to take Percocet? You're going to end up in a bad way if you keep popping random (and strong, I might add) pills to try to get some relief. Unless You were taking Effexor, not much is going to help. If it is that unbearable, then head to your local ER or an Urgicare, they may be able to give you a few Effexor to get you through until you can call your doc tomorrow.
I know you're in misery, but unless you can restart the Effexor, not much is going to help, I'm sorry to say. This is why we tell people NEVER to stop taking any medication cold turkey.
Hope you find an answer soon.
Nevermind the klonopin did not help. I am getting like 15 zaps a min and I am so terrible that my 1 year old spilled the dog water and I cried. I just dont know what to do to get through the day! My husband actually kicked me out of the living room and told me to go upstairs because of how bad I am. This isnt like me How can I get through the day? Help its terrible! Ive had these percocet for a few months now from a kidney stone should I try them?
You need to contact your doctor. A lot of times they can offer you samples until you can get your script. He/she may also be able to offer you resources on finding a way to make the Paxil affordable. You really should have called the doctor BEFORE you ran out, you never want to stop these meds abruptly.
When you call your doc, ask about the Klonopin. If it isn't something that is Rx'd to you or you haven't taken before, obviously the only advice we could give you would be "No", and then you obvioualy wouldn't be able to ask the doc about it. You COULD however, ask him to Rx you something short term to help with the symptoms until you can obtain the Paxil.
Please call your doc, this situation is probably avoidable. You may need to start doing some searching, making calls, etc, to find a way to make this happen so you can continue the Paxil. There are always options though, hon. The only option that should never be considered is to just stop taking it.
Let us know what the doc said!!! Hang in there!!
