please help!!!

My dh started taking Paxil for anxiety in mid december.  He is now completely different, in the last week he has been depressed, sleeping all day, asking for a divorce, saying he feels trapped, giving up on graduate school which he only has to complete his thesis to finish etc.  Now nothing has changed with me but he just says he is sick of me.  Could this be the meds?  A bad effect of the meds?  Or do you think it could all just stem from him wanting out of our 5 year marriage?  I know it is hard for you to tell this but can meds make you act like this?

Meds can do funny things. Lopk up a member called Paxiled. He can give you ireliable information.

It sounds like youur husband has a lot going on right now just with school alone. He is probably under a good deal of stress. Maybe a sit down and talk with a counselor is needed.

I've been on paxil for sometime now. It hasn't changed me at all. If he is suggesting a divorce, there is probably something else on his mind. You need to find out what it is and go from there.

The depression may also having something to do with it. feeling trapped is a symptom of depression/anxiety.
