While I believe what you are dealing with is anxiety related, I would speak with my doctor regarding this hernia. If you were told that the X-ray showed "major subluxations in the area concerning breathing......" I would definitely get that defined better. Since you have lost 70 pounds, (congratulations by the way, that's great!) one cannot blame extra weight as the culprit. The prilosec should have nothing to do with your breathing unless, on the off chance you were allergic to it. I'd talk with my doctor about these issues to put your mind at ease.

You lost 70 pounds from walking daily? Does that include a healthy diet as well? How long did it take for you to lose the 70 pounds?

I lost the weight since Feb 8th. It included cutting soda and salt from my diet and walking. Eating made my breathing worse, and my heart doctor said I had hypertension and edema, gave me a pill for it and now I havent taken the BP meds in over three weeks and my pressure is 125/75 steady.
They did an echo and a stress test and the halter monitor and said my heart is in great shape and dont see anything that could cause me to not catch my breath.
Now, today, I spoke to a respiratory therapist who thinks it could be my sleep apnea thats affecting my breathing, I said to him "even during the day" and he said absolutely..go finish the sleep study and lets see.
Im so confused as to this anxiety thing, in all the websites and workbooks I read I have no symptoms and no reasons for anxiety and especially to have such unregualted breathing. Its scaring me to death and makig it worse, Im sure.

I've found that regular exercise helps me a lot to deal with generalized anxiety. I think many anxiety sufferers become deconditioned, and this leads to high heart rates and high blood pressure, and that really makes anxiety much more disturbing and unpleasant.
Stay conditioned, and look into cognitive behavior therapy. After years of trouble, those are the two things that have really allowed me to feel good almost all the time now. And believe me, there a time a few years ago when I thought I would never feel good again.
I also have mild sleep apnea, and I have a CPAP machine now. I only use a couple hours a night, but when I do I feel better. That's an area where I need to work to do more.
