I'm a bit confused as to how relaxation makes you tired, unless you're not sleeping or eating well and when you relax your body wants to go to sleep. But meditation isn't any form of relaxation you've experienced -- it's a focused process of learning about yourself and letting go -- sometimes it's relaxation, sometimes it's spiritual, sometimes it charges you up, sometimes you just fall asleep -- it's not the same every time. It's a practice, not just sitting in an easy chair. It's fine if it's not your cup of tea, but people who suffer anxiety, including me, often don't try things because we make prejudgments that are often not based on fact but on our anxiety. Whatever you do, hope it works for you.
Relaxing in general makes me uncomfortable because it makes me tired
Meditation can give you more energy and regularize your system. Don't know why it makes you feel uncomfortable if you've never tried it. Why does it make you feel uncomfortable?
I've been exercising for a couple of months now. Don't know how to meditate and it makes me feel uncomfortable
I think this is part of the anxiety, not the cause. Do you exercise or meditate?
