The symptoms you are describing are almost to a T what I have experienced with my anxiety as well. When I was first diagnosed many years back I was sure I was dying or something. I had tests that all came back negative so I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder with Anxiety attacks. I found a good medication finally and I have not had an anxiety attack for a while...knock on wood. I remember as far back as being 8 yrs old and always being worried and nervous with hand tremors and racing thoughts. I feel they didn't get extremely unbearable till I was in my teens and 20's. So, yes the condition can gradually come on. Well, at least in my case it did.
thank you for replying i have these symptoms for a long time now.but my doctor has told me that it is to do with my anxiety and that there is nothing wrong but im convinced that there is. i am starting to see a thereapist now and hopefully that will help me do u suffer from these or are you in the medical profession.can the symptons come in stages or do they come all together once again thaks for replying
It sounds, or seems, like you are having symtpoms right now! I find it a bit difficult to read/understand your post, so I'll do my best. You can have generalized, and consistent symtoms of anxiety, called generalized anxiety disorder GAD, without having just panic attacks, or panic disorder. Your symtpoms sound a bit more on the severe or distressing side of anxiety disorders. My questions and suggestions would be, if this is the first time you are experiencing this, yes it could be anxiety, but go to the doctor urgently to be sure it's not serious. Seconndly if you've had this for a long time do you have a therapist or psychiatrist to prescribe medications or get to the root of the problem? If not, I would see your doctor right away to get involved with a psychiatrist and therapist to help you out and make sure you have a good support system as well.
