temporary blindness and dizziness.

I am a 22 year old male.  The other night I was at a concert and in the middle of the show I started sweating uncontrollably followed by a slight blurriness in both eyes, to severe dizziness, then complete blindness in both eyes lasting for 20 minutes.  The shock of it all caused severe anxiety and I feared I would never return to normal.  If it weren't for a friend being behind me to escort me to a seat I feel like I would have fallen on my face then and there.  I am trying to figure out what this could be and someone told me it could have been a panic attack.  This has happened to me twice before, both at concerts.  I never have had a problem with crowds or being in a large group of people, or being the main focus of a large group of people.  If anybody else has experienced this and found a solution please let me know, I don't know if I will be around someone trustworthy if it happens again.

I had something similiar happen to me when I was at ROCKFEST 2012. I was in a crowd with a ton of people which im used to cause Ive been to several concerts before, I felt fine I didnt seem to be nervous. It started with me yawing feeling a little dizzy then I couldnt see. My vision wasnt all black as it would be if I passed out. It was different like bright glares of light blocking my vision so I couldnt see at all. It lasted up to 5 minutes I had to follow my friend through the crowd cause I couldnt see and go sit down to let it pass. It happened twice that evening. Then later on I was in the crowd and I was fine??? Possibly a panic attack, but why when I was fine? I dont get it?

It doesn't sound like you have been to a doctor??!! Now I know we all put off going to Dr. or ER, myself included, but blindness??!! The possibility of losing ones eyesight should be  a reason to seek medical help IMMEDIATELY!! I trust you are doing this as I type, if not PLEASE go right now!!
