tingling

Does anyone get numbness or tingling on their feet or hands with anxiety. I have high anxiety?

i have tingling in my hands and arms and i use to really freak out. i have anxiety and panic also,but i learnt this,when u have a panic attack ur fight or flight response kicks in,and all the blood rushes to ur legs becos u need them to run away,the reason for the tingling in the hands and arms is becos there is no blood there,as we dont need our hands 2 run!!! hope that made a little bit of sense. but get checked out by a doc tho!!

It is not uncommon to get tingling in any part of the body with anxiety; especially a full blown anxiety attack.  I'm not exactly sure of the reason. Some of it may be sudden increase in pulse and blood  pressure, but  Beware  that there are also physical conditions that can cause tingling in hands or feet.  For example carpal tunnel causes tingling in the hands, so it's  best to get all physical causes ruled out first.
