weaning off xanax OVER! yes ! thank you

Well my weaning off xanax is over! took my last dose yesterday! Really happy! I would not trade xanax for anything, if you have acute Panic attacks like I HAD, then it is a good drug, but like most drugs, the coming off can be hard, BUT DOES NOT have to be.

For new members, I had panic attacks a number of years ago and did therapy, xanax and finally zoloft, then got better for about 8 yrs. then had a number of life changes (see my open journal entries if interested) anyway panic came back and after allot of SELF WORK and finally therapy (thanks military, taking so long to get me in) HA HA... (let it go samuel) anyway I found this forum and they did not have any pop ups telling me they had the quick cure if I would only send xx dollars, but I found some GREAT PEOPLE HERE WHO MONITOR THIS FORUM  AND NEW AND OLD WHO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES, A Nice guy from  Ireland who I did not hit it off with at first (so I can't spell) but he shared allot of himself, which gave me strength,  to people on the east coast to west coast of our USA. thank you all.

the only secret for controlling Anxiety/Panic is allot of hard work!  I do not know if it (panic) will come back, but like another person told me here, basically a reminder, Live in the here and now! yesterday is gone and tomorrow has not happened.
I am leaving tomorrow for Nebraska for 10 days then back to San Diego, I was scared when I first moved to San Diego (4 months ago) and even though I did not meet allot of people here yet, I met allot of people around the world , right here in this forum, THANK YOU all.
