weather and anxiety

I've noticed that when the sky is grey, full of clouds I become more panicky. One reason is cuz I feel very boxed in, almost clausterphobic.  I have more problems in winter anyway, but clouded over days are the worst. It's not so bad if it's cold if I can see a blue sky.

Does anyone have this issue and what can I do besides getting a light box to help?

It's a VERY good thing that you don't live in the Pacific Northwest if an overcast sky can increase your panic! There are times here when we don't see blue sky for WEEKS!
A light box may very well be all you need to help when the grey skies move in. It would certainly be worth a try.
Full spectrum lights in all your lamps might help as well.
Aside from those two suggestions, I can't think of anything else, but hopefully other folks may have some ideas for you.
Peace
