Just wondering ... are you taking Wellbutrin for anxiety or depression? It seems from reading online that alot of times it is prescribed for depression but less often for anxiety....my doc put me on it for anxiety but it didnt work well for me.. made me way to jittery....
It does not sound like you are too bad with the 150 mg. I found it best to take it in the morning if you are not already doing that. You do not have any of the side affects I had with the start of 300 mg so I'm not going to mention them because the brain works in mysterious ways and I don't want you to start thinking you have them. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any other problems.
All the best.
hey thanks for the hit up! I guess the "odd " feeling is the slight weakness a bit scattered with my thoughts ect I guess to be expected when upping a dose of these types of med's since they do work with the brain chemistry. I just wanted some advice and glad you hit me up and look forward to some feedback
all the best

Hi there.....I was on 150 XR Wellbutrin for about a year. I had no side affects whatsoever, however, I went to the 300 XR and had a lot of side affects. It wasn't until after about 4 weeks on the 300 XR dose that I started to feel better. I am currently on 300 XR with absolutely no plans to go off of it.
I don't think I ever had equilibrium problems but others things. If you describe your "odd" feeling perhaps I can see if it is something I experienced.
I tried Wellbutrin and wasnt the right med for me so now I'm on Lexapro (for close to a week now) but yes these meds can produce side effects that tend to diminish once your body adjusts to the medication. The chemical changes that happen in the brain take a few weeks (4-6) to really kick in so what you are experiencing is probably just some physical side effects of the drug. When I was on Wellbutrin (150 mg extended release tablet) the first couple of days I was very anxious and had bounds of energy but everyone reacts differently. Working with your doctor is the best way. I am very sensitive to these meds as well and this is my 2nd attempt at Lexapro... i dosed up too quickly the last time .. this time started at half a tablet (5mg) for 4 days... now I am on 3/4 tablet for the next 4 days and then up to a full 10 mg tablet after that.... your doctor can help you adjust the ramp up if needed..... hope that helped and good luck keep us posted.....
in my experience the wellbutrin works very well with little to no side effects. if after a few days that feeling dosent go away talk with your dr about lowering it a bit and then you and your dr can do some adjusting untill you find a good place with it. also, if youre a smoker it has an awesome side effect of helping you quit! good luck to you!
