why am i feeling this way

I'm 15 years old and have been diagnosed with anxiety . Ive had 2 ekgs and blood work and both came back normal.  But for some reason it still isn't enough To convince me that there's nothing wrong.  My anxiety started when I was smoking marijuana and I had a real bad panic attack. (Racing heart . Thought I was dying started running around the house ) every since then then my anxiety has been terrible. I feel like u weight a ton my arms are heavy . My chest gets tight when I'm walking. That's what irritates me the most . I go to sleep at like 5am and wake up at noon everyday cant sleep. And I get these weird headaches in the back of my head and my neck those hurt real bad. I look up my symptoms all day and all i see is heart attacks and strokes which scare me to death. And these symptoms last all day everyday . Is it just the anxiety that ive been diagnosed with or could it be something else

Anxiety, panic disorder, heart palpitations, sleep problems, migraine headaches are few of the hundreds of symptoms that are associated with Magnesium deficiency. I have been reading up on Magnesium and I learned that in this day and age, the kind of diet we get does not provide enough Magnesium Its a mineral that gets used by the body at every stressful moments. So daily, it has to be replenished. Eating good food is not enough. Its a mineral that needs to be supplemented. Amazing results.   Taking Magnesium daily will help your symptoms. There are several kinds of Magnesium, I use Mg Glycinate 3 caps a day as it does not cause loose stools.. Mg Citrate is another choice. ( Avoid Mg Oxide) I get them on line. Google: Magnesium for anxiety. People who are like time bombs who looks like they are about to blow at any time is a clear sign of Low Magnesium. So people who are angry or stressed out all the time are mostly Mg deficient...And so much more. Its an amazing supplement . It needs to be taken with Vit. D3 and eat calcium rich foods. I wish you well.

Hii :)

I'm not usually responding on here but sometimes read the posts on the anxiety forum (as I've delt with a lot of anxiety) and read your post and thought I would respond. :) And I saw that no one else did so i am certainly responding to you! :)

So Just to assure you, you are fine and you're gonna be alright!!! :)  Trust me, I actually went through a VERY similar reaction to mariguana, which caused me to have a very bad anxiety reaction, and like you I was convinced that it had to be more than just my mind (anxiety). I also was on line all day searching my symptoms and saw that my symptoms could be some serious physical condition!!

But it's not, anxiety symptoms can cause all the same symptoms a physical disease can even though it's very hard to believe!! And a lot of people think they have a physical disease when it is just anxiety.

So, you had a clear anxiety trigger, you smoked marijuana (which btw is known to cause anxiety responses like yours and mine. It took me months but I did get over the anxiety and got fully better!! And yes I thought I was dying of some kind of physical disease and felt I was having a heart attack at times!  So you can and will get better!!

You'll be fine!! :)  but keep posting on here for help as you can get a lot of good support here, but also try to open up about your concerns with people you trust, like family, friends, or even a talk therapist. There are some good talk therapists (counselors) out there but if the first one isnt helping dont give up because the next counselor might really help you out! :) And definately see a female couselor who isnt too young nor too old.. you know like a mentor you might be able to relate to. :)

Well you can always write me too and TRUST ME!!! You are just fine and it ABSOLUTELY IS anxiety.  :)

well try to have a nice 4th of July and I hope you feel better soon :)

Ash :)
