That's a good way to think. Two nights ago I only slept 3 1/2 hours, when I woke up and said to myself "I had a dream", I was happy to know I had slept.
I know what you mean. I feel strange in the dreams. I dream with those I know, and things that have occured. But I have had unrealistic dreams as well as nightmares.
i think i am having these weird dreams aswell, is it the same with you, they aren't really nightmares just normal kind of dreams that make you feel really sort of uncomfortable?
i know what ya mean about the dreams.... they make you feel like you didnt get a restful sleep... but look at the positive side... if you are dreaming... you are in a deep REM sleep... and you got 7 hours of sleep! plus some! =)
way to go! =)
I think the guilty and lonely feeling is more like depression. There is no other room where I can sleep. I wore ear plugs all night long last night and got 7 hours of sleep, I woke up at 4:30 am and one had fallen out but I replaced it and quickly fell asleep again. I've been having the weird dreams daily for about 2 months now. I dislike dreaming daily because I don't feel refreshed.

I thought of having chamomile tea but that would wake me to use the restroom. I actually had two benadryl pills last night and I was asleep for 7 hours. I dislike the shaky feeling I get when I don't sleep well.
I have not taken her to an ENT but a friend of mine said her daugher would snor a lot and once they removed her tonsils she stopped. As for my husband, he was hit with a baseball years ago on his nose and can't breath from one of his nostrils. They suggested surgery but he decided not to have it done.
sounds like anxiety...
And to BASTET56 - Anxiety isnt always a feeling of impending doom and feeling like you've done something terribly wrong.
I suffer from anxiety and don't feel like ive done something wrong... or feel impending doom per say.
I have heart palpitations, nervousness, no appetite... etc.
To answer your question liz0629, it does sound like a little mild anxiety...
I think once you get a good nights rest... you'll start to feel better.. Sleep is very important to your body... and if youre not sleeping well, then of course your body is going to try and tell you that...
the dreams... i get those too w/anxiety... but they will pass. =)
doesnt sound like you have a MAJOR anxiety issue or anything...
try to relax... try to get some z's and im sure you'll be back on track.
maybe you could sleep in another room one night? ear plugs are no fun... they can be uncomfortable.. and you hear every noise in your body lol.
take care... you'll be doing fine in no time. =)
This IS anxiety. It most likely is not an anxiety disorder. But it sounds like mild anxiety. Almost everyone gets a little bit of anxiety in their lives. Bastet56 is partially right but is wrong on the definition of anxiety. That is the definition of panic, not anxiety. They are completely different things. In my opinion, you don't need to see a doctor about your anxiety because it doesn't sound too bad. You just sound a bit jittery and maybe you start worrying when you realize that you won't get as much sleep as you like and the worrying keeps you up. But I would recommend going to a health store or pharmacy and seeing what kind of herbal remedies they have. If you live in Canada then I recommend going to Shoppers and getting Herbal Nerve. It works awesome! If not then just ask the pharmacist and they will assist you.
Sounds like you are nervous, but that doesn't mean anxiety. Anxiety is a feeling of impending doom, the feeling that you've done something terribly wrong, the world is ending and thoughts like that. If you have 2 snorers and are not getting much sleep I can understand why you would be jumpy and not getting a lot of sleep. Have your partner or child been to an ear, nose and throat dr? My son used to snore and it turned out he had an almost total blockage because of bad tonsils and oversized adnoids.
