wondering why they cannot fix me

i was wondering if anybody can relate to my problems. i am a 33 year old mother of 2. I have had 4 miscarriages inbetween, have always had heavy periods irregular periods, when I was 15 was involved in a had motor vehical accident and suffered a tramatic brain injury to the temporal lobe on left side. I have had numerous blood test 2 positive ana 1:40 slightly elevated to some docs, some say normal, some say high. Had 2 abnormal sed rates and normal ones. + anti lupus colugant (sp), here are the list of surgerys I have had,
gallbladder 1998
nission fundo to correct gerd 2001
appendix 3 weeks ago
4 dnc's for miscarriages
endometro ablation, dnc, hystoscopy, laproscopy in Jan. of this year
facial reconstruction for car accident
carpul tunnel surgery

my symptoms

gerd is back with hiatal hernia
chronic morning stiffness
chronic back pain, shuts down my legs mainly right side
siezures
anixety attacks
mrsa breakouts for last 3 years on face, chest and back of legs
facial hair on chin, I am a pale not usually hairy blonde, but the sporatic hairs are coarse black hairs
chest nodule, lower right side, docs said not to worry
stomach bloat
diahrea daily
migraines
have had facial paralysis (feels stuck) temporalily

Test scheduled
Endoscope
colonoscopy
before i go, I have an appointment with my internal med doc on Wed, I am tired of him taking it lightly, he said possible lupus, possible fibromyalgia, with all of my symtoms and i am sure i am missing some this has been since 2004  I am disabled due to the brain injury, but I think all of these doctors focus too much on that and ignore my other problems unrelated. I am at my wits end I need to be healthy for my kids not drugged up on pain killers, and ignored. Does anybody know where I should start with my doc on Wed. I have been to sooooo many that think I am a hypocondriac, I feel like I am going nuts. I don't want to switch docs again, i just think they don't read all the records and just go off of current symptoms.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

I agree with Kstuff.  Some of your symptoms sound like PCOS which is hormone related BUT with everything else you have going on, it could easily not be PCOS at all.
I wish you luck and encourage you to be very persistent.  You are your best advocate.

Coarse hair on your chin makes me think that you may have a hormonal imbalance, which is not uncommon for young mothers.  It doesn't explain all of your other symptoms, but I've been told that hormones will wreak havoc on your body if they're out of whack. Maybe look into an endocrinologist or ask your PCP to test your hormone levels. :)

My heart goest out to you for all the surgeries you had endured.

It is frustrating when doctor cannot tell us what's exactly wrong with us, while we know for a fact that something is wrong more than his/her diagnosis.

Like you, I have many medical problems,  the overlapping symptoms can get overwhelmingly confusing to myself as well as to doctors.. So, to have a clearer picture, may be why your doctor is ordering the tests"

Endoscopy.....is most likely due to your gerd hiatal hernia...this procedure can give a doctor a better idea how your esophagus really looks.
Colonscopy......more than lifely because your on doing daily diahhrea and bloating.

Does it make sense to you?

Iregular periods can mean many things........have you ever checked if you have endometriosis?

I know, when we are not well, we tend to want answers yesterday, not tomorrow.  You just had another op. 3 weeks ago......with 2 children to care for, all that can mount to whole lot of stress.  Stess is definately bad when we are sick.  Please hang in there.

'WHEN IN DOUBT, CHECK ANOTHER DOC. OUT".....if you have doubts abour your doctor, try and get second opinion before you head onto another surgery.

Feel better.......
Kit
