Ensure you share the fact that prednisone helped. That is an even clearer indication of auto-immune problems. Good luck finding a rheumatologist that will work for you.
I was on Prednisone for my eye then alot of my symptoms got better...now I am on nothing again and I am having problems that are slowly coming back. The only med that I am consistently is blood pressure meds been on that for 7 years though
Yes she is wrong. And some people have lupus and never have a positive ANA. You definitely need a new doctor as you certainly have some kind of auto-immune going on. Are you on any drugs? Even though my bloodwork was positive once and now negative I am being treated with plaquenil for Lupus.
I also get this weird spaced out feeling and memory loss. I have had my ANA tested but my rheumy said it was negative and would never change. I think she is wrong about that. I am currently looking for a new doctor.
Yes alot. It started in 2003. I had a 3 month long vertigo spell....that lifted somewhat then I started noticing the hives when I got cold. Nothing was out of the ordinary(just random bouts of vertigo and hives when I got cold) until december of 2008. I started noticing that I could not finish a shift at work. I was sooo tired all of the time. In april of 2009 i was walking in a store when suddenly my legs got heavy and I felt as if I could not lift them. The next day I had double vision all day and then my eye turned red and became painful. I eventually went to the doctor for my eye and was told that I had Uveitis. The immediately tested me for auto immune issues and Ms but said that it was all negative. The Uveitis lasted 10 months. I also had, muscle twitching in legs, heaviness in legs, inability to walk very far at all, EXTREME fatigue, the list is ver long of the issues that I have. I am still not better. I do feel a bit better but i still cannot make it through the day without a nap, and I cannot walk distance at all. The vertigo came back with a vengeance in April and I still have it today. Now I am getting the rash in the sun.Thank you for any advice.
