I do have other symptoms...
I feel sick and tired all the time, and have leg pain when walking short distances, and get pitting edema in my ankles, at the end of the day.
When I walk my legs feel heavy and tight also, and my the skin beneath my cuticles (nailfolds), gets puffy and red. The redness fades when I raise my arms up. My doctor did not explain why my nailfolds get red, and I do not think she knows. But I think it is from my blood vessels...
Make sure you are tested for Celiac disease. Try cutting out possible problem foods, like dairy, nuts, soy, citrus. Lyme disease certainly causes strange problems, but I don't know if your test results support that at all.
I do feel ill, (and really tired), and get rashes all the time, but they do not last too long. Just about an hour. I also have pains in my legs when I walk. My legs hurt so bad I can ot walk too long, and my legs get swollen in the ankles.
My doctor does not know what is wrong. I was tested for rhrumatoid arthritis, and had some low positive ANA and SSA tests, but the doctor didn't think it was lupus.
I am wondering if I could have an infection or virus...???
So you need more clues. Watch for other symptoms. Do you have a butterfly rash on your face? Do you have joint pain? Do you have digestive issues? Do you get sick all the time with every virus that comes along? These are clues that could help.
