LA...Wow, that is a big decision for you all to have to make. I have you in thought and prayer :) Yes...Summer time is here!
Heiferly; Yikes! I hope the elbow is better and no hospital visit needed...Let us know.
ChristyDrake: That is awesome that Cody was able to be active over the weekend. I also understand that you are a nervous wreck not knowing if a crash will folllow or not. Positive thoughts that all will be ok!
I Actually had a TERRIBLE morning / Afternoon today. HR up and down near syncope several times....I personally would rather go ahead and pass out to get it over with! ANd top it of w/ shear exhaustion and some of my MS sx acting up...Makes for a Sucky day.
I tell myself, This too shall pass :)
Take Care my friends,
~Tonya
Cody has follow up with the dermatologist today and my daughter has a neurologist appt on Thursday.
I am holding my breath with Cody, or waiting for a crash. He was active all weekend, saw old friends, even played football (unbenounced to me at the time) and has not had his usual crash that follows. We have our fingers crossed that maybe the water jogging or something has caused him to take a turn for the better. He did not feel well until about 2:00 yesterday, but it wasn't as bad as usual and he said he was just mainly really tired.
When I saw him leave with his friends on Friday, I just wanted to cry (happy tears). He has not hung out with friends for so long.
I'm also hiding out in the A/C from high temps this week (mid 90s here with high humidity).
I had a faint last night and must've landed wrong on my elbow because it was *killing* me when I came to. I iced it last night, and plan on monitoring it today to see whether it warrants a trip to the hospital for x-rays. I'm really hoping not, since I was just at the hospital last week and I like to space my trips out, LOL.
Other than that, not much planned until Friday when I have a quick trip to the GYN to get my depo shot.
Have a good week you guys!! Stay COOL!!!
Good morning, Tonya! It's nice to see you around again!
We actually have some things on the schedule around here, too. Nick is in the middle of what has turned out to be a 48-hr urine test. Looking for methylhystimines, pheochromcytoma, and something called 5-HIAA.
Friday we have a consultation with a doc about an hour away from here. He was recommended to us by Debbie Dominelli, of the dynakids organization. I am very anxious about the appt. My husband is going with us--we will need to make a big decision after seeing him--either to continue the path we are on, or to switch to this new doc. Switching means a total change of insurance plans for Nick and essentially that we will lose access to any of the docs we have seen thus far or even want to see (an endocrinologist and electrophysiologist) in the Johns Hopkins system.
And other than that, we plan on spending much time indoors enjoying the air conditioning while the temps top 100 degrees outside!
Hope you have a great week and feel better after your chiropractor visits!
