Desmopressine for POTS

Anybody using Desmopressin?

I have started taking 0.1mg every morning since May 4th and have not seen any improvements in my tachycardia yet.

Any input would be appreciated :-)

  Hey there :)

  i am not taking that med so sorry I can not commit on that part...BUT, i did want to mention as a thought, if you have not seen any improvement w/ this med, It may be a good idea to give your prescribing doc a call to fill them in.

    Usually what happens is when starting meds for AD, you wind up, through trial and error, going through sometimes MAny meds and dosages before you get to the one that "Works for You"..I am starting on my 4th one tomorrow. Hoping it will be the "one".

     I would certainly give your doc a call tomorrow as you should not have to continue tdeal w/ those symptoms. Is it a Cardio who rx'ed you this?

Thank you for taking the time to answer :-)

I did left a message with my cardiologist on Tuesday, but no reply yet.

Always take sooo long before he gets back to me.

Desmopressin is the third medication that I've been trying so far.

Roll on the 4th one?!
