I know when I was at Mayo, MN they Flew President Johnson's daughter to the Mayo with Gulliain-Barre syndrome to be treated by the autonomic specialists. I also know IVIG is commonly used to treat Gullain-Barre, what I don't know is if this syndrome is always an autonomic issue or just sometimes.
I know that might not be helpful at all or maybe it will so I decided to post it.
I believe we have one community member that is currently (or was recently) getting IVIG, but I don't know that I've seen her around lately. She's been a longstanding member of the community but has been rather ill, so she pops in now and then for updates rather than being continuously present. Next time I see her around I'll ask her about it and see if she can post some information on it.
Sorry I don't have any firsthand info on it myself.

Please let me know if you find anything out about IVIG.
that's interesting--I had never considered it for dysautonomia. When my younger son was diagnosed with ITP when he was a toddler, that was a treatment commonly used. It hadn't occurred to me that it could be helpful with this, though. I'm going to ask Dr. Rowe about it when we see him.
