Making "the rounds"

Hey all,

For those that read my last update, I still don't have news on all the test results ... namely, the one I was most concerned about I still don't have an answer on.  So my stress level is still very high.  As anyone might have guessed, especially with the way it was causing disturbances in my sleep and making my loss of appetite worse, this instigated a flare in my dysautonomia.  Just for kicks, I got a flare up of my narcolepsy symptoms too ... including the first "big" cataplexy (paralysis) attack I've had in a long time.

On the other hand, I realize that a lot of you all happen to be flaring along with me and have lots of questions.  I've tried to "make rounds" and comment in the various threads, letting people know that I am aware of people's questions and will hopefully be back around within the next few days.  It is my intent to get everyone's questions properly answered as soon as I possibly can, so please just bear with me.

Before I hear back from all my loving friends reminding me to take care of myself, I've already realized that I am no good at taking a break from "life" whilst in the midst of it, so I've arranged with my family to get away for a bit.  So I will be ON VACATION from the 17th-22nd.  That means that if my sister/mom can wrestle my smartphone out of my hand, I really will be unavailable.    :-p

Oh no!  I hate when I go down in a public place!  I can't tell you how many times I have been layed out on the floor or a retail store : (((((  I have not had an ambulence called in a long time as at this point, I usually put myself on the floor before I black out completely...but I have been SO close.

Why do we feel so embarrassed about things we have no control over?

Aw....that's awful.  I can relate.  I rarely go back to places where they have had to call the ambulance.....it does feel embarassing.  Although, I don't think they think any different of us, it just feels not so great.  Feel better!!

OMG! I am sorry. My faints always seem to happen in public. I hope you weren't hurt as you.went down and that you weren't alone. I hate coming to and finding no faces I know.

Ugh, I fainted at the post office today. 911 got called, ambulance came, ... I'd rate it at moderate on the embarrassment scale. At least it wasn't a busy day there so I didn't have a big audience.

I'd really been hoping today would be better, symptom-wise. Guess I should have stayed in bed another day.

Heiferly, take that break as you need it. I can't imagine being without my smartphone. I sleep with it and if it was waterproof I would shower with it.lol
Anyway try to have a relaxed time off. Easier said than done I know:)
