NCS and sex

Hello. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I've been diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope for probably about ten years now. (I'm currently twenty years old.) It was explained to me as abnormally low blood pressure, which then led to not enough circulation to the brain. Pretty harmless unless I crashed into something when I passed out. My then-neurologist (I went through a teenage rebellion and refused to see a doctor- real smart, I know, but I have plans to find another one) told me to be careful with how I moved (ie, don't bend down to tie your shoes, don't get up too quickly), to avoid caffeine/alcohol, and to increase my salt intake. Sparing occasional chocolate and normal slip-ups, I've followed his advice, but have still had episodes on almost daily basis (mainly near-episodes). I've come to terms with it and fine, whatever for the most part until very recently.
I'm now beginning to engage in a sexual relationship and have been quite horrified that anytime I come close to orgasm, I immediately have to lie down because I start to faint, feel extremely light-headed, and my limbs become numb and hard to move. While it was summertime and quite warm out, I had just eaten and was already sitting down while not physically exerting myself at all. When doing some research on the internet, it appears that it's not dangerous and why it happens, but I still find it alarming and would like to avoid this, if at all possible. Has anyone else experienced this? Or have any idea how to work around this? Apparently some people try to pass out/faint due to orgasm or whatever, but I abhor the feeling and it worries my partner.

I was also diagnosed with NCS in November 2010. I also get extremely weak, lightheaded and dizzy for hours or days after sexual activity. The doctors cannot give me a reason why.
