New Assocation in Florida

I also wanted to let u all know about the Florida Assocation of Dysautonmia and the Florida Children Dysautonomia Association. I will be actively putting on final steps for these Association over summer..  The purpose for patients is having groups of doctors in Florida to go to who are familar with Dys. They are all currently onboard. The next issue is education. Through this assocaitaion, all hospital and doctors starting in S. Florida will become educated and aware of tthis illness. They will now have a group of doctors through our Association who they can refer to. The website will  aslo have info for patients. South Florida will be the first area we will actively persue.  The hope is now patients can be seen in Florida and dont have to travel. Again in the Summer, myself and board membesr will be finalizing this.  Kelly

Wow, this is so exciting!  I live in Coral Springs and will be moving to Parkland soon.  I'll be watching for updates - thank you!

  Is that Ft.Lauderdale (sp)?
I live more North. just North of Orlando.....Marion County.
I certainly don't mind driving if it is worth it though.

I am very happy that you are doing this, we sure need this type of service and advise, most of all it is great that your association will be rasing awareness to all hospitals and Drs.
I will be looking for this service in this summer, please keep us posted as to when.
