diet and autonomic dysfunction

Can somebody explain to me why a low carb diet us felt to be better for those with a dysautonomia?

That makes sense. I know I feel better with smaller high protein meals but didn't know why. Then I am noticing even people with arrythmias are saying the same thing about carbs and larger meals. Thank you for the explanation

It may be because after the body uses simple sugars, carbohydrates breaks down next for energy & if the body with dysautonomia gets higher amounts of carbs, it's like an overload of energy to our messed up bodies?  I know I have a problem with large meals or with a meal like pancakes and syrup or when I drink a some soda w/sugar in it (I try to let it go fairly flat due to having IC).
