My Dr told me if I'm breastfeeding I can only take the pill or the depo shot. Can I hear some stories about either of these?
My mom and I were on the depo shot and didn't gain weight or get moody. Was on it 2 and a half yrs, only got pregnant so many months of stopping it.
You can get only progesterone BC. My doctor said either the depo shot or copper IUD. I'm going with the IUD because I've known a lot of women that have gotten preggo on the shot and gain a lot of weight. You can get preggo on anything really but IUD seems the best.
I gained a ton of weight on the depo and I'm pregnant now to the pill failing me. I'm looking into the IUD arm implant after this pregnancy.
I hated the shot. My mood swing were horrible. And I am also pregnant even know I took the shot like I was supposed to.
The shot can also mess with your good hormones and make you mean. It happened to me. It made my good hormones to bad ones. And yes you gain weight, your face breaks out, and there is to many hormones in the shot for someone that just gave birth.
I was on the mini pill. With that one it's REALLY important to take it at the same time everyday. It's less effective than the normal pill (only by like 1 or 1% but still) and to not be taking it at the same time every day lessens how effective it is even more! I liked it though. I took it until my daughter was 13 months and we started trying again. And I never got a period!
Yeah I've seen a lot of ladies say they get pg on the pill and then that you gain weight with the depo shot ugggggghhhh lol
Ive heard u can get the arm implant but not sure... dnt trust the pill... just dont do it lol thats why im here XD it failed me but now im happy it did XD
Ask about tge iud you can get fpr 5 or 10 years tgey insert in my sister got pregnant from the shot
And the pills made me sick if you miss a pill you can get pregnant so just choose wisely the pill to me was stressful sometimes I forget to take my prenatals so I know with a baby I won't remember no birth control
