if u been shot once with the contraceptive last summer 2009 and now its december in 2009 does the shot still last
The Depo shot covers you for 12 weeks. When that is up you need to have the shot again to stay protected. Technically if you have un protected sex after the 12 weeks you could be pregnant, though in some women the shot can take up to 18 - 24 months to get out of their system.
