Will they remove my neuroglial cyst

Hi
I have been told I have a 'small' (don't know size) benign neuroglial cyst in my temporal lobe.  I have activity in my right mid temporal lobe which doesn't show definite epileptiform changes????  Anyway - for the past two years I have had a constant headache in the right side of my head at the back of my skull where the bony part is and in my ear - like a knitting needle is being rammed in it at all times.  The pain has gotten steadily worse and worse during that time causing me to be referred to a Neurologist just before Christmas to check for a Chiari malformation as I also have Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility type.  The MRI scan came back saying that I don't have Chiari but that they had found this cyst.

Is this causing my pain?  It is getting worse and worse and is now hurting the same areas mentioned above and now my eye and underneath it feel full of pressure all the time - like a sinus type headache.  The pain is about a 4/10 when I wake in the morning and by the evening I am on my knees with my head in a pillow - I'd say 8-9/10!

I also have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome and hypotension.  I also wake up most nights with an inner vibrating type tremor all over my body, I jerk in my sleep a lot according to my husband and my migraines are getting worse and worse to the point where my right side from my tongue to my toes is completely numb and I can no longer speak properly as well as seeing auras.

Is any of this linked to this cyst?  It appears it is in the same place I have been experiencing the pain and where the EEG is showing activity.  I am an anxious person since I've been diagnosed with all these issue in the last two years and its overwhelming and I feel like I just want this thing out of my head.  If it is causing my symptoms will it be removed?

I would get copies of your imaging reports and MRI and look at them.

Your won't understand but it helps to know and then you can ask the doctor when you see him/her.

I am not a doctor and cannot say if any of your symptoms are related to your cyst, but you need to know so do get copies of all tests and imaging so you are on top of things. Make sure you are happy with the explanation and the interval for next imaging and the plan to deal with your symptoms aka not just let the doctor say not related and let you hang. It may take a good pcp to coordinate and push to get things in shape as you may or may not have one or more things going on... hopefully it is just the cyst and they can take that puppy out.
