Abnormal liver function tests

I was diagnosed with breast cancer (with vascular invasion) 4 years ago, had surgery and radiotherapy. Recently feeling very tired, bruising easily and so went for blood tests. The tests said there are some abnormalities within my liver tests. I am going again tomorrow for Gamma GT and hepatic profile tests. Could this mean that I may have secondary cancer in my liver?

I suppose it could BUT it could also be due to several other things. As you well know, once diagnosed with BC there is always a chance that it may return in one or more organs. You must also remember that there are other ailments that affect the liver function tests; even some medications so I wouldn't be jumping to conclusions just yet.  Kindest regards ....

Thanks for that. I suppose it's one of those situations when you think the worst so anything different is a bonus. It's the waiting that's the hardest part - a second round of blood tests, scans etc. I don't want to say anything to my family. I don't want them to be worried unduly if it turns out to be something routine or minor. It was just a bit of a shock when the GP was very blunt about the possibilities. He was right, of course, tjere's no point in avoiding it. Anyway, fingers crossed that it's nothing to worry about. Thanks again
