I only suggested the removal of the lump because it seems to have caused you so much stress ..... you have submitted posts regarding the lump at several different times. I thought having it removed might give you some peace of mind where it is concerned.
If you've been to various Doctors and none has suggested further testing regarding your spine as related to the numbness I'm wondering if you actually made that symptom the main point of your visit. If a Neurosurgeon wasn't included in the list of Doctors you have seen then by all means give that a try and make your main complaint the numbness in the arm, shoulder, leg, foot and toes. Wishing you an answer to your problems soon. Kindest regards ......
I also agree with your Dr as zouzi posted above that the fibroadenoma would not be the cause of the numbness you have described. Another suggestion might be to have the lump surgically removed and / or consult a Neurosurgeon regarding the numbness you are experiencing even though the two things aren't related. The nerves that would be responsible for these symptoms are coming from the spine and it seems rather rare that it would extend so far as to affect both extremities. The neurosurgical consult would be my first choice in such a circumstance. Regards ....
Hi,
I agree with your Doctor that Fibroadenomas would not cause the symptoms you are describing.
Sometimes a specific injury to a nerve in your neck or a herniated disk in your spine could be the culprit.
You should see your health care provider for evaluation and be sure to report all symptoms, even if they don’t seem related. Your Doctor could also refer you to an Orthopedist who deals with spine abnormalities.
