Hi again and you welcome!
The only test is for you to try it and see how it goes. Some women do not experience many of the sides effects while some others do.So the only way to know,is to try it.
As I said in my previous post, you could talk to your Oncologist about changing the drug if Femara is giving you too much trouble.Although these anti estrogen drugs have similar side effects, some people can tolerate one better than the other.
Good luck!

Thanks for the answer.
Yes , I have read the info online about side effects and ... got shoocked. Actually , there are 2 opinions -- opposite -- because of 2 doctors. That,s why I think --- perhaps there,s no need to kill myself with Femar.
What tests am I to take to know that?

Hi,
Glad to know that you finished all your treatments.
Femara,is an anti estrogen drug that you will probably have to take for the next 5 years.
This drug is known to protect women considerably from cancer recurrence or a new cancer in the opposite breast.
If your doctor has recommended this drug,I think that you should take it and see how it goes with the sides effects that might not be well tolerated. Some other drugs can be prescribed by your doctor in case the side effects become unbearable.
Hoping that you will to see your doctor regularly for evaluation to make sure that all is going well.
Wishing you a healthy life, free of cancer...
Best wishes...
